Who caused the tears?
In Rossville, 25 years after
the forced removal of the Cherokees, Civil War Mayhem visited this town.
During the Civil War, Rossville was known as
the Rossville Gap,
a "land gap" through Missionary Ridge Mountain, to the small town
of Chickamauga, an unknown Confederate Stronghold at the time.
The large Iowa Civil War
monument to the left is located in the center of The Gap.
Rossville, GA. is a Gateway into an Indian land-grabed
area
and a Gateway into America's Bloodiest Battlefield named Chickamauga.
Chickamauga in the Cherokee tounge means
"River of Death."
